The Teachers

Gretchen Stephan has her MFA in Fine Art Computer Animation from RIT - Rochester Institute of Technology. She has worked as an animator/designer in CA for various companies including Rejobi Interactive Communications, ISI, VSP and Eyefinity. She has now taken up art instruction to find her way back to the traditional arts. Gretchen also has her BFA in Fine Art Printmaking from RIT - and is intent on finally using it!






Erin Graziano has grown up surrounded by art. Her mother, a graphic artist, always had creative projects going for her and her brother. She went to Boston College where she received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Elementary Education. She spent 6 years teaching at the Elmwood School in Hopkinton before staying at home with her 3 children. Now she enjoys doing art projects with her little ones and loves bringing her excitement for the arts to her classes.






Rachael Murkett has her BFA - Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from RIT - Rochester Institute of Technology. She worked as an instructor of Art in the Learning Dpt. at Memorial Art Gallery,Rochester, NY. She is a self proclaimed paper artist who works in collage and creates hand made cards and mixed media paintings. She has a passion for printmaking, including block and monoprints.









Beth Newman has her BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design, where she earned a well-rounded education in all areas of art- from textiles and ceramics to classical oil painting, collage, and children’s book illustration. Beth loves sharing the experience of art making with anyone who is willing to enrich and explore their own creative niches, and especially with her own two children. She is originally from Wisconsin and enjoys gardening and vibrant color combinations.
